Scratch that... guv doesn't speak at DNC Wednesday night. Delegate on the flloor tells NMI he'll speak at Invesco Field Thursday instead

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson did not address the Democratic National Convention Wednesday night after all.

According to a text message from state Rep. Antonio Maestas from the floor of the convention, Richardson will speak tomorrow at Invesco Field instead.

"I think the applause to [Bill] Clinton's speech and the other speeches just took the program overtime. He'll speak tomorrow I'm sure. The applause for Clinton was like 10-15 minutes and I think he probably went longer than alloted," Maestas wrote. "But the people loved it!"

Maestas is also an elected  delegate to the convention.

Richardson was scheduled to speak in between retired Lt. Gen. Claudia Kennedy and U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards of Texas. Instead, the two followed one another.
