New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson is just minutes away from addressing the convention delegates in Denver. In an interview with the Independent a couple hours ago, here's how he described the goal of his speech.
The goal of the speech is to say Obama is ready to be commander-in-chief. With the challenges we have, Iran, nuclear proliferation... Who can bring the country together, who's bipartisan? That's gonna be the theme of the speech. And what I'm trying to do is reinforce the view that to be a good president, you have to have more than long experience, you have to have values, you have to have good judgment.
