Palin's first interview. How did she do?

By benito aragon 09/12/2008 | 4 Comments

In Sarah Palin's first major interview since her accepting the Republican nomination for vice-president, when asked about her foreign policy credentials she switched the topic to energy.  She also seems a bit stumped when asked about the Bush Doctrine, which is the policy of a preemptive attack on a nation if deemed a threat.  How do you think she fared?

yikes… seems like she needed a political science refresher course before the interview.

The melding of news with infotainment—and that is what these interviews are—should be a concern to all voters. Gibson is a news man. It is not his job to help Americans get to know Sarah Palin’s views on domestic and foreign policy. His job is to report the news and not try to best Barbara Walters at her interview game.

Ever since the League of Women Voters withdrew their sponsorship of political debates the whole process of voters getting a deeper understanding of a candidate has been given up. But this fits well with McCain’s campaign saying they were running on personalities, not issues.

Pray away the Palin…..The fact that McCain chose this woman as he running mate tells us all we need to know about him….He makes quick decisions but not wise decisions. Choosing a woman that is one heart beat away from the presidency that has no idea what the Bush Doctrine even is should terrify us all. She has shown herself to be judgmental and damnatory….she seems to feel that her priggish beliefs of how her life should be run are how we should all run our lives….
Pray away the Gay???...since people are born this way…that is pure ignorance…...Teach abstinence only???....we see how well that worked with her own daughter….Apparently she believes we should all have pregnant teens. It is obvious that she is totally not ready to make decisions for the good of us all….Our country would be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. God help us if they are elected!

She has twice the experience and morals of obama & biden combined. Seems her worst enemies are socialists—and that’s good, very good.
