No seats are available for next week’s town hall meeting in Albuquerque with Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

As previously reported, McCain will be in Albuquerque  on Tuesday for 10 a.m. meeting. The day before, he’ll hold an evening fundraiser in Albuquerque.

McCain spokeswoman Whitney Cheshire said a few hundred seats were made available on Monday for next week’s town-hall meeting, but “they’ve all been snatched up.” Only people who have made reservations will be allowed to attend.

The town-hall meeting will be at Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town, according to McCain’s Web site. The site says doors will open at 8:45 a.m.

This will be McCain’s second 2008 campaign trip to New Mexico. He was in Albuquerque on Memorial Day. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has made two trips to New Mexico -- one to Albuquerque and Santa Fe and the other to Las Cruces.

I got a really odd phone “poll” last night. The questioner didn’t seem really helpful or enthused at all, and in the end it was apparent that the only question she was really interested in was who I was supporting for president – – – So I lied and told her McCain 100%. They’re gonna put me in the front row, this should be fun. :)
